elevateIT is available under an Open Source License (The GNU General Public License (GPL)) that governs, what you can and cannot do with the elevateIT code.
Shortly summarized, it says that you can use the elevateIT code for free. However, if you are redistributing elevateIT, you have to release any changes you make to the code base back to the elevateIT community.

elevateIT will not cost money in the future, neither for clients nor for developers. A company may choose to sell programs or modules based on elevateIT and ship the elevateIT source code together with their commercial product, but the elevateIT base product will always be under an Open Source license.
Likewise, it will never cost money to upgrade a current elevateIT installation.

The elevateIT name and logo are pending worldwide registered trademark protection.
The elevateIT logo may be used for linking or as press material. Logos and material in print/web format can be found in the press area of the company webpage SYSLAB.COM .
elevateIT can be reused and rebranded, as long as all changes to the code are made public again in conformance with the GPL. We appreciate, if you state "Powered by elevateIT" in a visible spot like the footer of your webpages.
